Two Languages. One Adventure.
A FREE week of hands-on STEM, music, and culinary fun — taught in Spanish and English! Students will build, create, and explore as they grow into confident bilingual learners.
About the Camp
Ballare Prep Inaugural STEM Summer Experience is a one-week immersive experience for Ages 3–8, blending dual-language instruction with hands-on STEM exploration, creative arts, and character development. Every activity is designed to be developmentally appropriate, culturally rich, and genuinely exciting for young learners.
Hosted at Missouri City Church of Christ in partnership with Rainbow Chefs Academy and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), this pilot camp is the first step toward Ballare Prep's full school launch in 2027.
Secure Your SpotAll campers will be part of Ballare Prep's Inaugural Cohort and receive founding family status for our 2027–2028 school opening.
Why Ballare Explorer Camp
Campers engage with English and Spanish naturally throughout every activity — through stories, songs, science, and conversation. No prior Spanish needed.
Hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and food science activities that make children think, question, and discover — just like real scientists.
Music, rhythm, visual arts, and cultural celebrations that honor identity, spark creativity, and connect learning to the world around us.
Character development, social-emotional learning, and teamwork are woven throughout camp — building confidence and community alongside academic skills.
Held at Missouri City Church of Christ and led by local educators and community partners, this camp is built for — and by — our Fort Bend County community.
As a 501(c)(3), every dollar goes back into student experience and program quality. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for qualifying families.
Camp Schedule
Each day is themed and builds on the last — mixing science, language, creativity, and confidence in ways that feel like play and stick like learning.
Campers explore rhythm, sound, and musical expression in two languages — discovering how music connects cultures and communicates emotion.
Cooking is chemistry! Campers mix, measure, and observe ingredients transforming — learning bilingual kitchen vocabulary and kitchen safety basics.
Experiments, observations, and discoveries — campers act as real scientists, asking questions and finding answers in English and Spanish.
Engineering challenges and creative building activities that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and out-of-the-box thinking.
Campers celebrate their week by sharing what they've learned, performing, and demonstrating their growing confidence in both languages.
